To enhance your status to a goth, ask, “Would you like to go on a picnic?” The goth will initially react with disgust at the thought of spending time outdoors in sunlight. Then add in a deeper tone “… in a graveyard?” The disdain quickly turns to glee. Suggest that the goth bring its notebook of poetry to share with you.
Bring a camera on this play-date to establish yourself as a kindred, artistic soul. Take pictures of the goth posing dramatically next to mausoleums and angel statues.
Don’t bring any food for the picnic. Goths don’t eat anyway.

Yay, a new post! The great thing about suggesting a graveyard picnic is that it works on potential lovers too. Only the most bitter goths can resist the natural thawing induced by such a considerate proposal.
I love old creepy graveyards filled with history, old houses that have stood for generations, I love moonlight and fog, I enjoy standing in raging storms watchinglightning, I like the creepy feeling of being in haunted erea where ghost and vampire fantasy sends chills up the spine.
I like candles burning, fog rolling and a symphony metal band exploding from the speakers. I like black, and the way victorian clothes look on me. I like top hats and girls in big skirts, eyeliner and mideival rings, crosses, mystery and dancing in crowded clubs filled with people who do what they want and don’t give a d*** what others think.
I am goth and would not change it for anyone just because they think it is abnormal. More Goths might mean less misery for the world, at least people would respect each other’s right to be themselves rather than making ignorant rules for everyone to follow.
it wasnt good. See where i’m getting to?Its a wisepdread problem. 80s sell, but goth doesnt. Most of the people that buys and listen to goth and related music are simply going to stay home because they know that the club wont play this obscure band that rocks but isnt put out by Cleopatra. It takes a lot of energy to be able to put out a good product and keep on doing it. But just like musicians, good DJs are hard to come buy; but when they do remeber to tell both the DJ ANDF THE MANAGEMENT. Trust me on this one. The club management has more power than the DJ. Subtle comments made at the bar to the staff can change things faster than not going to the night; because then the preppies take over and your dinner is ruined.
